It will affect performance 100%. More than likely not noticeable though to most riders. They are a certain diameter for a reason. The powerbombs(I think that’s what they’re called now) and other pipes with larger diameter portions of the header are like that for a reason. No idea where to go to fix it I’d call fmf first.
