I use this as my primary client due to being so more flexible than Transmission. Having said that I have had problems with it. Quite a number of times (actually most times) that Synology releases a new version of DSM the rTorrent stops working and it needs to be reinstalled losing all of its torrent config data.

Dec 26, 2017 · Hi Paul, just an FYI sonarr works the same whether running on Synology, Mac, windows etc. sonarr manages the process of automatically grabbing tv shows however how well it does this is dependent on the sources you use with it (indexers for torrent files or NZB files for Usenet, which also requires a Usenet subscription).
